Your words. Ready to go.
Add a sentence for each word (optional)
Practice reads the word, your sentence, then the word again, just like a spelling test. Keep sentences short and leave out names and personal details.
Up to three spelling patterns, separated by commas. Leave blank to let the child or a grown-up write them.
Each sheet includes a QR link back to these words. Word search supports up to 20 words with 2–14 letters.

How the practice works
- Hear & spell: the word is read aloud (with your sentence, if you added one). Your child types it. If it is wrong, the tricky part is highlighted, your child copies the word once, and it comes back a few words later.
- Build with letters: the letters of the word are shuffled into tiles to put in order. It is a good warm-up for new or long words.
- Readiness check: like a spelling test. Answers are saved and shown at the end, with first tries kept separate from words spelled with help.
A routine that fits a school week
Short practice on several days tends to stick better than one long session before the test. Many families use a few minutes after school, Monday to Thursday, with the readiness check the evening before the test.
Results stay on the page and are not saved. That keeps practice private, and it also means each session starts fresh.
Questions grown-ups ask
- Which devices work?
- Any recent browser on a phone, tablet, Chromebook or computer. Listening needs an English voice that is installed on the device; most iPhones, iPads, Macs and Windows computers have one.
- Is my child’s practice tracked?
- No. The practice page has no analytics, cookies, accounts or purchase prompts. Answers stay in the page and disappear when you leave.
- Can I use it for sight words?
- Yes. Any list of words works, including high-frequency words like said, was and because.
