Start here
Your words.
Your sheets.
Paste the list, create it, then choose a worksheet or open the practice link.
Made for parents and teachers.
Use spelling words only—no names or personal details.
02 / A little practice
Your words. Ready to go.
Add a sentence for each word (optional)
Practice reads the word, your sentence, then the word again, just like a spelling test. Keep sentences short and leave out names and personal details.
Up to three spelling patterns, separated by commas. Leave blank to let the child or a grown-up write them.
Each sheet includes a QR link back to these words. Word search supports up to 20 words with 2–14 letters.
How it works
- 01
Make the list once
Paste this week’s words. Add a sentence for homophones if you like.
- 02
Print the handout
Choose “Family handout,” preview, and print a copy for each family.
- 03
Share the link too
Copy the practice link into your class newsletter or messaging app so families who lose the paper can still practice.
What families see
Scanning the QR code opens a page where a grown-up checks the words first. Then the child can hear each word and spell it, build it from letter tiles, or try a readiness check. Nothing needs to be installed.
Listbee does not collect student information or send results to the teacher. The words are inside the link itself.
For families who speak Spanish
A Spanish handout and Spanish instructions for grown-ups are on the way. They will be published after a native-speaker review. The spelling words and the voice stay in English.
Questions grown-ups ask
- Is it safe to share the link with a class?
- The link contains only the spelling words (and any sentences you add). Do not add student names or other personal details. Anyone who has the link can open the list.
- Will I see how students did?
- No. Listbee has no student accounts and does not collect results. That keeps it simple and private.
